Haiku Challenge with Clark Strand

This private, subscription-based Facebook group is home to the finest poets currently writing haiku in English

Each month’s activities include:

Four Weekly Challenges with Haiku Tips: Participants have from Monday afternoon to Thursday at 10 pm Eastern time to submit up to eight haiku. From those submitted each week, a few dozen are chosen by our team for extended commentaries, plus 20-40 honorable mentions. These are posted the following week before the next challenge is issued. Each challenge includes a lesson or “Haiku Tip.”

Monthly Kukai: A Kukai is a monthly haiku gathering where poets submit 3 poems anonymously for commentary by their peers. Participants choose the five haiku they liked the best from those submitted and explain briefly what they liked about them. The results are then posted to the group.

The subscription fee for this group is $100 per month (or $1,100 yearly) 

No prior experience is required.
